Heavenly chocolate smoothie
The creamy and smooth texture and the rich chocolate flavour is a heavenly combination in this smoothie. And what makes it even better is that it’s packed with healthy ingredients so you can enjoy it guilt-free at breakfast, lunch, dinner or for pudding.
Ingredients
1/2 avocado
1 dl coconut milk
2 dl almond milk
2 tsp (raw) cocoa powder
A small handful of sultanas
Some additional sultanas and cashew nuts
Method
Place all the ingredients, apart from the additional sultanas and cashew nuts, in a blender and whizz it together until it is all smooth and creamy. Add some sultanas and cashew nuts to your smoothie, this gives it a nice bite.
*Tip: If you want to eat your smoothie with a spoon (it’s delicious, give it a try 🙂 ), you want start off using less coconut/almond milk.

Our friend John (the Dutch smiling yogi) took us to this little organic and vegan restaurant (Blue Planet Café) close to Agonda Beach and introduced us to their chocolate smoothie. We were hooked (especially Elena, who loves just about anything with chocolate :-))! This is our version of the chocolate, avocado smoothie and we are pretty excited about it!
